The Project

Temporary removal and reinstatement of roof-mounted telecoms equipment.

Scope of Works

  • Landlord of the property – Archis House in Essex – wished to re-roof the entire building
  • Telecoms equipment for Vodafone and Telefonica required to be moved during roofing works
  • Clarke Telecom worked directly with the landlord’s roofing contractor to coordinate a programme of works
  • All telecoms equipment was temporarily removed to allow half of the roof to be recovered
  • The equipment was reinstated and the same process applied for the second half of the roof
  • All works were carried out to strict safety standards, in collaboration with the landlord’s roofing contractor, and delivered on time

This two-phase project allowed for the removal of equipment and completion of re-roofing on one side then the other.
Collaborating with the landlord’s roofing contractor was vital to agree the most efficient programme of works.
